General information only
The site explains how gutters work, what commonly goes wrong on homes in the Jackson area, and what affects the cost of a job. It's general information.
Every house is different. What we recommend for yours depends on what we find when we measure and look it over, so treat the site as a starting point and call us about your own home.
Estimates, prices and agreements
The site lists no prices. Estimates are free, given in writing, and based on measuring your house.
If you hire us, the written estimate and agreement you approve set the scope, price, schedule and any warranty terms. Where the site and your written agreement differ, the written agreement controls.
Availability and scheduling
We answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When we can be at your house depends on the weather, safe working conditions and our schedule.
Photos and illustrations
Photos and diagrams on the site illustrate the type of work described. Unless a caption says so, a photo is an example image and may show a house we didn't work on.
Local, permit and code information
Local facts on the site (housing age, climate, soil, licensing and historic district rules) come from public sources and were accurate to the best of our knowledge when written. Rules and data change.
Confirm permit and approval requirements for your address with your city or township building department before work starts.
Safety and do-it-yourself work
Some pages describe tasks a homeowner might do, like cleaning gutters or adding a downspout extension. Ladder work is dangerous, and a gutter loaded with ice or hanging loose can fall without warning.
If you choose to do any work yourself, you do it at your own risk.
Ownership of content
The text, layout, logo and graphics on the site belong to Gutter Guy or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use.
